Good sized south facing balcony with seating area and spectacular sea views. Communal swimming pools to rear of apartment.

The Apartment

 

The apartment is in an enviable elevated location at Monte Dourado resort, less than 5 minutes walk to delightful Carvoeiro, a classical Algarve fishing village that has retained its charm with whitewashed cottages and buildings running down the hillside to a lovely beach. The village square around which much of the local life revolves overlooks the lovely sandy beach where fishing boats await the next trip. Carvoeiro has a bustling, friendly atmosphere, with plenty of fine restaurants, numerous bars, a good choice of shops, pharmacy, banks, doctors, butchers, bakers, newsagent and a lively nightlife that includes several disco bars. Carvoeiro is situated in Portugal‚Äôs rugged Central West Algarve, with stunning cliffs and sheltered coves, close to many golf courses, two Water Parks, Zoomarina, Sand Sculptures and many beautiful towns, villages, beaches and attractions to suit all ages. Pleasant breezes cool summer temperatures and winter weather as we know it seldom appears in these parts. The Algarve is blessed with an almost tropical climate, comparable to California or North Africa, with an average 11-12 hours of sunshine per day in summer and 6-7 hours per day in winter. Faro Airport is only 45 minutes away and is serviced by many low cost airlines and tour operators with local airport departures –

Sky TV, DVD player, CD player, tape and radio, small selection of DVDs & CDs but if you have favourites please bring them with you. Selection of books & board games. Electric heater is provided for winter and a fan for summer months.

Patio doors lead to furnished terrace with ample room for Al-fresco dining, pre-dinner cocktails or just to relax and watch the sunset over the sea. The apartment is fully double-glazed. Kitchen – Fully fitted modern kitchen with cooker, dishwasher, washing machine, microwave, kettle, toaster, coffee maker, fridge/freezer, iron and ironing board. General Notes

 

No smoking policy inside apartment but permitted on the terrace. Maid service 5 days a week. Bed linen and bath towels are provided (pool towels free from reception). Check in time is 3.00pm and check out is 11.00am unless otherwise arranged. As the apartment is located on a hill anyone with severe mobility problems and opting not to hire a car may need to use the cheap local taxis to return to the apartment. Maximum 5 people in apartment. Complex amenities – Reception (open every day) for booking excursions, airport transfers, taxis and Internet access. Guests have exclusive use of communal swimming pools within the complex; sunbeds available on first come first served basis at no extra cost. Two tennis courts are on site – equipment available for hire from reception. Mini-market less than 5 minutes walk.
